spare room conversion

Hi there again,

This was a great little project. How to turn a rarely used spare room into a great space for a grandmother to spend time crafting with her grand kids! This space called for moving almost everything to somewhere else in the house ( and the garage! )and bringing in all new items suited for the spaces new use. An old tabletop is given new life with some metal legs, bookshelves and cubby inserts, framed cork boards, big cozy beanbag chairs, and some fun pillows makes for a great place to spend some time with the kiddies. Craft away!

Redesign and Reconfigure

Hey everyone!

This was a quick and easy one but what a difference it made. This room had some really cute stuff and was in pretty good shape so why was I needed? Furniture layout is as much an art form as anything and that's what this room really needed. A little shelf re-merchandising, hang up a few pictures, move some furniture and voila! Much better, don't you think!

before and after

These before and after photos are from a recently completed project. My client was using a small, spare room in the house as an office. It was a little cluttered, a little tired, and she wanted it to be the beautiful office space that she knew it had the potential to be. In this case my plan called for a little of everything. New design concepts, the utilization of some existing items, and a lot of organization! A sophisticated and calming wall color, a new set of office furniture and shelves for more storage, new carpet to replace the old, and some well placed accessories. In the end my client is totally happy with her brand new office and I guarantee you that it didn't cost as much you think!
